Eugene O'Neill Drive at Golden Street

Served as a waiting place for trolley passengers up until mid-1930s at the Cedar Grove cemetery on Broad Street. Restored & moved to present site in 1995 as New London Visitor Information Station.

DIRECTIONS TO INFORMATION STATION

Coming from the north or east on I95: Take exit 84S, which puts you on Eugene O'Neill Dr. Station is on left one block after third traffic light.

Coming from the south or west on I95: take exit 83 to downtown New London. Follow signs to downtown. Take left in front of old courthouse, which is on your right. This is State Street. At second traffic light go right on Eugene O'Neill Drive. Station is one block down on left.

Coming from Rte 32: Go left on Huntington St. (traffic light just after you have gone under the interstate). Take left in front of old courthouse, which is on your right. This is State Street. At second traffic light go right on Eugene O'Neill Drive. Station is one block down on left.

Driving from the Cross Sound Ferry parking lot: Straight up Gov Winthrop Blvd after crossing railroad tracks. Left at light (in front of Red Cross building) onto Eugene O'Neill Dr. Station is one block on left after next traffic light.

Walking from the Transportation Center (ferry terminal, bus station, or railroad station): At RR Station walk up State St. one block to Bank St. Go left on Bank one block. Go right on Golden one block to Information Station.
