Hygienic XXVII

The 27th Hygienic art show, Salon des Independants, plus satellite events makes its annual return in late January. The famed art show opens at 8p, January 28, at the Hygienic Art Galleries on Bank Street.
As always there is no judge, no jury, no censorship, no fee. Submissions can be dropped off between 9a and 5p on the 28th, to be hung from 5-7p.

On the night before, to get everyone in the mood, the Hygienic Hootenanny will take place across the street at Muddy Waters Café.

Young Artists XV at the Garde, noon to 4p
Hygienic Cabaret at ONeills Brass Rail, 7p to closing
Hygienic Rock Fix at two sites: HipNotic and the Bulkeley House.

Downtown restaurants offer late hours and bistro menus for the big event.
